I have more of a unique start as I jumped into my career head-first, 4yrs before my peers and as green as a Spring sapling. While attending a technical school full-time, I also worked as an Interior Design Assistant for a local designer, custom builder, and architecture firm. My experience there catapulted my passion and taught me more than I imagined possible. I was hooked! I finished out at Savannah College of Art & Designed after 5 years, having already worked in the field and already starting my own business. Again, juggling working while in school full-time. After SCAD, I opened my first retail space (while simultaneously finding a husband… I’m a multi-tasker) which highlighted my loves: interior design + sculpture. I quickly saw that I could utilize jewelry as a small-scale means of communicating 3-dimensional work. And so the jewelry + home goods lines were born.

Fast forward to today, I’ve been working as a designer for 14 years now, designing everything from international jewelry lines, home decor, restaurant spaces, to mountain homes, modern downtown condos, and window displays for commercial retail shops. Creating an environment is what I do, and I do so to the best of my abilities as I believe it brings joy to my Creator. I respect what I do so it’s easy to give it my all.

But enough about me, now I want to learn more about you. How can you and I partner together to awaken the soul of your space? I want to hear about it and learn how I can give you my all while transforming your space into a haven that reflects the people, personalities, and souls of your family. How can a family with little ones sustainably have a beautiful home? It’s easy to create a Pinterest space, but what about a liveable space? One that is up to the challenge of spills, pets, parties, and more. What heirloom piece have you lost your love for? Let’s talk over coffee, tea or wine.

A bit about me…

I’m a wife to an incredibly talented musician, mum to two (about to be three) little wild-things, a lover of animals, and a multidisciplinary designer, currently in the North Carolina countryside.

I’ve become deeply aware of the gift I’ve been given in deciphering a visual someone is attempting to communicate, then turning it into a well-designed reality. How musicians are often able to see in music, I’m able to visually construct/reconstruct spaces in my head, almost like a mental photoshop. But more than that, I’m able to hear what someone is trying to visually describe and give it life. There aren’t many things in life I can attest to being freaking good at, but this is one of them.

I’m passionate about creating a space that my clients walk into and feel at home, even when it’s their first time seeing it in person. A space is more than windows, light fixtures, and chairs; it’s the soul of a space that must be harnessed. Reviving the soul of someone’s home or space is such.a.joy. for me.
